"LangPont" or "the Service" refers to the service provided under the name "LangPont" and operated by Demisel Lab.
LangPont is a communication-focused language support tool designed to help users evaluate how their messages may be perceived by others. The Service uses third-party AI systems to generate translation outputs. Outputs are for reference only and users remain solely responsible for how they use them.
You must be at least 13 years of age (16 in the EU/EEA) to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You must not use the Service in any manner that:
You are responsible for ensuring that content you input does not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of third parties. You are also responsible for independently verifying any output before use. The Service uses AI systems which may generate inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate outputs. Do not rely solely on outputs for important decisions.
Certain features require a paid subscription.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@langpont.com.
All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record.
Refunds may be provided where required by applicable law, including applicable consumer protection laws.
EU/EEA residents: You have the right to withdraw from a digital service contract within 14 days of purchase (cooling-off period). By requesting immediate access to the Service upon purchase, you acknowledge that the service has begun and your right of withdrawal may be limited accordingly.
A free plan is offered at our discretion and may include usage limits.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free plan with reasonable notice.
All rights to the Service, including software and design, belong to Demisel Lab.
You retain ownership of your input content.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your input solely to operate the Service.
Outputs are provided for your personal or business use without guarantees of uniqueness or accuracy.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
The Service relies on third-party AI systems, and LangPont does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of outputs for any particular purpose. You use the Service at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LangPont shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the past 12 months.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where such limitation would be prohibited by applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or applicable legal requirements.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@langpont.com.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time.
For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice where practicable, via email or notice within the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
Nothing in these Terms affects the rights of EU/EEA consumers under the mandatory consumer protection laws of their country of residence. This does not deprive you of protections afforded by mandatory laws in your country of residence.
